Capturing the unique essence of each of Starwood's global properties through imagery was central to the company’s brand objectives. However, sourcing and coordinating local photographers at each property was complex and challenging: the process was time-consuming for hotel managers, and corporate marketing and creative leaders found it difficult to drive brand consistency, control image quality, and manage costs.
