Brighten & Lighten Cream for Treatment of Hyperpigmentation
Our Brighten & Lighten Cream contains four powerful ingredients to even skin tone: Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid, Tretinoin, and Hydrocortisone.
Hydroquinone forms the backbone of this formulation. It’s a skin-lightening agent that reduces hyperpigmentation by reducing the production of melanin in the skin.
Kojic Acid does its part by acting as a “tyrosinase inhibitor”. This is important because tyrosinase triggers melanin production. In other words, less tyrosinase in your skin means less melanin pigmentation.
While Tretinoin doesn’t do much to treat hyperpigmentation on its own, it makes for a nice adjunct to the other ingredients contained within this cream because it accelerates the lightening of brown spots by promoting more rapid turnover of skin cells.
Finally, Hydrocortisone contributes to fading hyperpigmentation, but it also soothes irritation that can be caused by other ingredients (like Tretinoin).

Dosing
Suggested Use:
Wash face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry. Apply a pea-sized amount of cream to the entire face at bedtime. Start by applying every 3 nights for 2 weeks, then every other night for 2 weeks, working up to nightly use. Reduce frequency of application if skin irritation occurs, working up to nightly use more slowly. Peeling and redness are common when treatment is started, but these symptoms subside with continued use. Avoid getting cream in eyes, nose, or mouth. Use only as directed.
